For doses of HPV vaccines delivered in schools through the (school-based) HPV vaccination program, HPV Register data are considered close to complete. This is except for vaccinated individuals who do not consent to their data being provided to the HPV Register. The completeness of data for doses delivered outside the school-based program (e.g. by GPs) may vary across Australia.2
Reporting of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status to the HPV Register is voluntary and is currently incompletely reported.2 Therefore, it was not possible to present HPV vaccination coverage for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adolescents in the report.
Due to the dynamic nature of the HPV Register, data in the report may vary from data reported on the HPV Register website and other publications.
