The MyReport tool allows you to generate customised data on-screen or create customised reports for more than 125 measures of health and care on the MyHealthyCommunities website.
Follow the steps 1 – 3 to build your report and select all the features you wish to include. You have the option to view your report on screen, or download it as a PDF or Excel file. Your selections will automatically be saved if you leave the MyReport tool. To clear your selections and start again, use the ‘Reset’ button at the bottom of the page. Any MyReports you generate will be available under the Previous MyReports tab, unless you clear your browser settings or change computers.
The search filters available in each step provide a way to find specific geographies (Primary Health Network areas or Medicare Local catchments) and health measures for inclusion in your MyReport.
To use these filters:

Complete this step to add the Primary Health Network (PHN) areas or Medicare Local catchments of interest to your custom MyReport.
Your current PHN is set automatically for you based on your location, or select a specific PHN or Medicare Local from the list. You can also use the map feature to locate the geographies you are interested in.
The available PHN areas are displayed in a list, grouped by state. The available Medicare Locals are displayed in a list, grouped by peer group.
To complete this step:
Select from the list headings to expand or collapse the list of geographies available and use the checkboxes to add to your MyReport
Select from map by locating the local areas you are interested in on the map of Australia.
Tip: Enter a keyword into the search box or use the filters to refine the list of PHN areas or Medicare Local catchments by name or location.
Complete this step to select the categories or individual measures to include in your report. The available measures are displayed in a list, grouped by category.

Complete this step to generate and view your MyReport. You can view your MyReport on screen or download it as a PDF or Excel file. When selecting PDF or Excel output, additional features may be offered including a table of contents, additional data for Local areas (SA4), Local areas (SA3) or Indigenous regions (IREG), maps by Primary Health Network, Medicare Local catchments, Statistical Areas Level 4 (SA4s), Statistical Areas Level 3 (SA3s) or Indigenous region (IREG), a summary of health measures and a glossary. Simply select the checkboxes to add these features to your MyReport.
By default, the latest data period published for your selected measures will be included. You will have the option to include all data periods available for a measure.
To view on screen, select ‘Show MyReport on screen’.
To download your MyReport as a PDF or Excel file, select the relevant option then complete the following:
Tip: If you have entered the verification check it will remain valid if you update the inputs prior to clicking on the Generate report button.
